It's just another Mock-up Monday

I decided to play a bit with mock-ups today.  I combined some new patterns with some of my favs and found some pretty sweet photographs to work with.  Here is the result!  Which is your favorite?  Happy Monday!

It's not always as simple as black and white.

HAHA!  This was an interesting challenge for me.  My work is typically full of  BIG BOLD COLOR.   Honestly, I have not done much using just black and white...even though that is how all of my work starts out.  So, I was surprised by how much this contrast drew me in!  Even though it has a very minimal color palette, it makes a BOLD statement.  It is clean and crisp and FABULOUS!  The palette definitely has a modern feel and I love that!  I have mocked up several designs to show you the possibilities.  Hope you enjoy Glenna as much as I do!

I am in love with this dress!!

Have a seat...

I am having some fun with mock-ups today.  It is always so thrilling to see my designs come to life!  The possibilities are endless with surface and pattern design!  It is my happy place...my sweet spot!! Creating beautiful patterns that will be enjoyed by other people brings me so much joy!  This simple clean pattern adds some playfulness to this basic chair...don't you think?  I LOVE IT!

Love to pin? Love pattern? Why not save the date and join the Pinhop event starting on the 15th June

If you say yes to either of those two questions then there is no excuse not to join in the Pinterest Pinhop starting on the 15th. A group of 40 or so talented SP designers will be presenting brand new designs via a special Pinhop board located on the Find New Designers Pinterest site-there will full collections presented by those designers own web sites or blogs but the main design you can pin to your own board.

The concept and preparation is by Tina Olsson of Fyllayta who has done a great job putting this together.

See you there I hope?
